    5 1/2" Pressed Glass Pedestal Compote / Vase
    Flowers and Leaves
    This pressed glass footed compote was manufactured by an undetermined maker, there is some discussion over who actually manufactured it. But it was made for the floral trade by (probably) either Brody or Brockway. It features a stippled background with vines intertwined amid flower medallions and sheaves of wheat, with a rope twist surrounding the bottom edge of the bowl, and a smooth, undecorated lip. The base has a scalloped edge with beading. The 4-part mold seams are visible in both the bowl and the base. Excellent pre-owned condition; no chips, no cracks, no scratches.
